Abstract: In the context of a dynamically developing society, volatility of economic and political conditions for doing business, variability of internal and external factors causing uncertainty and numerous risks, the management of organizations is faced with the need to ensure economic security. This is becoming one of the key tasks of managing an organization. The process of managing economic security includes not only taking measures to protect the organization and its resources from threats and risks, but also monitoring the key parameters of its activities. This necessitates the development of a comprehensive methodology for assessing the level of economic security of business entities. When writing the article, the authors set the tasks of exploring the theoretical aspects of economic security management and proposing a methodology for assessing economic security for entities engaged in industrial entrepreneurship. To achieve this goal, various sources of information and methods of scientific research (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstract logical, comparative, etc.) were used. The authors clarified the concept of "management of economic security of an organization", formulated the main requirements for this process and proposed a methodology for assessing the level of economic security of organizations. The results of the research presented in the article may be useful to managers and specialists of various levels of industrial organizations, students of higher educational institutions, students of advanced training courses, etc.
